On-demand pumps without an accumulator tank can chatter on and off when you brush teeth or fill a glass. A bladder tank stores pressurized water to smooth demand spikes.
How Bladder Tanks Work
The SEAFLO accumulator tank holds a rubber bladder pre-charged with air. Water enters when the pump runs; stored volume dispenses before the pump restarts.
Pre-Charge Pressure
Set air side to roughly 2 PSI below pump cut-in pressure (often ~15 PSI for 45 PSI systems). Check with a tire gauge when the water side is depressurized.
Pump Pairing
Rated to 125 PSI — compatible with SEAFLO 33 and 55 Series demand pumps in RV and marine installs.
Install Location
Mount downstream of the pump, before fixtures. Keep accessible for periodic air pressure checks.
